Senior Marketing Representative

BEHRINGER China is in search of an experienced and dynamic Senior Marketing Representative who will help develop and maintain customers as well as manage the day to day branch office operations.

Job Purpose: The SMR-PRC will lead the Music Group’s brand and market development activities in one of the most dynamic and vibrant markets in the world – the People’s Republic of China. Based in Beijing with a small team of marketing communications, product specialist and support staff the SMR will lead the growth and prominence of our MI and Pro Audio brands with dealers, distributors and end-users. The successful candidate will have solid market development expertise with a deep understanding of the music, pro audio and MI businesses and will be accustomed to forging commercial and promotional relationships. Driving brand strategy and ensuring that our brands are well represented in stores, high-profile venues and in use by opinion leaders, the SMR will possess a can-do attitude with a keen eye for the aesthetic and commercial aspects of brand-building.

Responsibilities

  • Build brand recognition in the Chinese market.
  • Market development with outside reps as well as inside product managers.
  • Manage the office and office staff, responsible for all day to day operations.
  • Work with distribution and captive employees.
  • Help plan events, market strategy and brand loyalty, create program, monitor for success.
  • Review and evaluate products and reports.
  • Manage the translation for website thru EAD.
  • Prepares presentations and presents to dealers, customers, etc.
  • Visit all dealers with EAD at least twice a year.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in business.
  • 3-5 years experience in the audio industry.

Experience

  • International experience required.
  • 2-5 years of management experience required.

Special Skills

  • Marketing background, strategy and budgeting skills.
  • Good command in both oral and written English language.
  • Chinese culture/Business experience preferred.
  • Travel required.
