Buying a Behringer PA System: The Admin's Procurement Checklist

We've all been there: your operations manager walks in and says, 'We need sound for the quarterly all-hands meeting.' Or maybe it's for the employee break room, a small stage at the summer party, or a training session in the warehouse. If you're the office administrator who handles purchasing (like me), your first reaction is not excitement — it's dread of buying the wrong thing.

This checklist is the process I've refined over the past few years buying audio gear for a mid-sized company. I'm not an audio engineer. I'm the person who manages vendor relationships, processes POs, and asks the 'dumb questions' so the people who do know sound can get what they need. By this point you've defined your needs, chosen active or passive, analyzed parameters, decided on a sub, and planned monitoring. A few extra things I've learned the hard way:
